The historical renovation of the Belton Chalet, West Glacier, Montana, provided an interesting challenge to balance the contradictory requirements of current building codes and the National Historical Registry's mandate to restore and preserve the original design elements of the period. The Great Northern Railway built this Swiss chalet hotel in 1910 to serve Glacier National Park. |
